Father's in his speech (October 8, 1978) he said:
When God looks at a person, He sees the person's past, He penetrates his present mind, and based on these He foresees his future.(this is about predestination)
What do you think Father did when he anointed his beloved son HJN as his successor, did he look to his past, did he penetrates his present, did he [Father], based on these things foresaw his son [HJN's] future? To those who still doubt Father do they have the courage to face this reality?
Father says about himself the following words in a speech pronounced on (February 1, 1987). Do you think that I was born to fulfill a certain purpose, which predetermined the way I grew up and what I have become? Or am I the product of my circumstances and the sum total of things that happened to me as I went about my life? My life was predestined before I was born. Therefore even the features of my face were predestined... I am not the man I am today because of things that happened to me in the course of my life. I am the man whom l was predestined to become. I grew up holding on to the Principle; I did not go my own way unconnected to the Principle.
Do you hear, Father says, I did not go my own way unconnected to the Principle. Everything Father did is connected to the Principle including the anointing of HJN.
On the other hand did Mother do the same things? What about HJN Was she wiser than Father? May be she was and foresaw what Father could not. By firing HJN Mother did not only destroy his position but could cause the destruction of the future of his lineage and what he represents if he did not connect himself blindly to his Father and his Father's choice.
