Some people call whatever it is they like to hear the "truth".
If Eve heard what she didn't want to hear she would not have fallen but apparently Lucifer told her what she liked hearing and she took it as truth. It was very desirable even though God commanded her not to eat it:
"When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it." Genesis 3:6
Apparently Mother was pleased in what she heard from the archangels and so she believes it is true that she is the Messiah.
No matter what Father said before about the CSG, his final command was not to change one word but somehow Mother believed that she had the power & authority to go against Father's command.
And apparently she was led to believe she could change many other things that Father established and elevate herself above Father instead of honoring him.
If something (or someone) tells us that it's okay to go against the highest authority you can be sure that it's not the truth. It's tragic that Mother did not figure that out just as Eve failed to figure it out.
